Overview
The city of East Gull Lake has not adopted the MN State Building Codes. However, it requires compliance with § 8.10-7 (zoning permits) of the East Gull Lake City Code; this section calls for a permit to be issued for "all-new structures and any change in structure exterior, plumbing or number of bedrooms." Furthermore, "no person shall assemble, install, repair, remodel, remove or construct any structure" before receiving a zoning permit. (see pages 374-375 on pdf document).
